Job Overview
For an immediate start, we are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Coffee Shop Assistants to join our team for an immediate start. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with food preparation, making barista style drinks and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. Your passion for hospitality and coffee will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our customers.
Hours of work available
Mondays 06:00-10:30
Wednesdays 06:00-17:30
Thursdays 06:00-11:00
Sundays 08:00-17:30
Hours can be flexible and can be rearranged. We are ideally after 1 candidates who is able to work all the above hours per week, but this is flexible and can be split amongst candidates according to personal circumstances. You will be given regular shifts that will be agreed on prior to employment.
On-site training will be started immediately.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items meet food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including seating areas and workstations.
- Handle catering orders and assist with event setups as needed.
- Assist with regular stock deliveries.
- Provide excellent service to enhance customer satisfaction and encourage repeat visits.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Experience
- No experience necessary as all training will be provided.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in a café or restaurant setting.
- Barista experience is highly desirable, with knowledge of various brewing methods.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices.
- Food Safety Level 2 training completed within the last 3 years.
- Strong hospitality skills with the ability to engage positively with customers
- Experience in catering or serving would be an advantage
