Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled, friendly, and passionate individual to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering high quality beverages to our guests in the restaurant and customer facing bars, ensuring exceptional and consistent quality, as well as delivering a memorable and enjoyable experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, as well as excellent customer service skills alongside a friendly demeanour.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages according to company specs and standards
- Take accurate food and drinks orders from guests and enter them into the POS system
- Have good knowledge of our food and drinks menus to make appropriate recommendations to guests based on their preferences
- Operate both the dispense bar and customer facing bars efficiently both alone and alongside your team
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, building rapport and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Perform quality checks on drinks before sending them out
- Collaborate with the team in delivering an exceptional experience to our guests
- Handle payments in accordance with company standards
- Ensure the bar is clean, tidy, and complies with our high standards to maintain a welcoming environment
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene guidelines
- Have a working knowledge of our health and safety procedures
- Help open and close the business, following our procedures, and setting the team up for the next service
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
- Prepare garnishes, premixes, and other ingredients to ensure quality and consistency across the week
- Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines and ensure guests are of legal age before serving
- Help out in the restaurant if needed to cover breaks or sickness
