Duties:
- Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on used vehicles to ensure quality standards
- Conduct servicing and repairs as required, maintaining high standards
- Diagnose vehicle issues using the latest diagnostic equipment and tools
- Complete routine maintenance such as brake, tyre, and general repairs
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently within set timeframes
- Keep accurate records of all diagnostics and work carried out
- Adhere to health and safety protocols within the workshop environment
- Assist with additional workshop duties as required, supporting a team-oriented approach
Requirements for the PDI Technician position:
- Proven experience as a PDI Technician or similar within a motor trade setting
- Relevant qualifications, ideally Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Experience working with new and used vehicles, with knowledge of diagnostic systems
- Experience with hybrid and electric vehicles is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with capable diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
- Reliable, flexible, and committed to delivering quality work
