Role Overview
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Housekeeper to join our housekeeping team on a part-time basis. You will play an important role in ensuring that our guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and presented to the highest standards, helping to create a comfortable and enjoyable stay for every guest.
This position is ideal for someone with excellent attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude who takes pride in maintaining a spotless and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas to the hotel’s standards.
- Replenish amenities, linen, and towels as required.
- Ensure all cleaning materials and equipment are used safely and correctly.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene guidelines at all times.
- Assist with laundry duties when required.
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues.
- Support the housekeeping team and supervisor to ensure smooth daily operations.
Skills and Experience
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Good time management and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Friendly and professional approach when interacting with guests.
- Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
