We are recruiting a team of support workers for our client, who is currently living in Andover, but due to relocate to Portsmouth when his full care team is in place.
Positions available:
Day shifts: 8am till 8pm, 2 or 3 shifts per week
We are looking for a friendly, outgoing person who will be able to provide the important care that our client requires. Our client is a lovely gentleman who lives with Autism, Anxiety, Depression and has a moderate Learning Disability.
Full client specific training will be provided by our brilliant nursing team. This is a great opportunity to work as part of a lovely team and to enhance your skills in complex care, with fantastic 24/7 clinical support.
Your Support Worker role will include:
- Supporting with personal care & daily assistance
- Supporting our client out in the community due to his vulnerability
- Supporting our client to help regulate his emotions
- Driving our clients car to run errands
- Respecting our client and families privacy
- Support to plan activities for the week
Your experience:
The ideal candidate will have experience working as a health care assistant or Support Worker and be a great team player who will work well alongside our fab team. You will also need to be creative thinkers who can adapt to the needs of our client so you can find solutions to challenges that you may face. Previous experience working with Autism and/or Learning Disabilities and can manage Behaviours that Challenge, will be required.
