About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Joiner to join our small team working across council properties and domestic homes in York. This is a long-term, permanent position with consistent work and a supportive environment.
The role involves a mix of first and second fix joinery, including:
- Fitting council kitchens to specification
- Installing fencing and undertaking small external works
- Carrying out adaptation work (e.g., minor alterations, accessibility improvements)
- General joinery tasks across occupied and void properties
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in kitchen fitting and general joinery
- Ability to work independently and to a high standard
- Good communication skills when dealing with tenants and colleagues
- A positive, reliable attitude and pride in workmanship
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)

- Potential candidates could have a company vehicle including fuel or a self employed candidate with their own vehicle/fuel this will be reflected in the hoourly rate.
Pay: £18.50-£22.50 per hour
