Provident Domiciliary Care Services is recruiting flexible Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers to join our agency team. In this role, you will step in to support local residential homes, supported living facilities, and day centres when they are short-staffed.
You will work alongside existing teams to deliver high-quality, dignified personal care to vulnerable individuals, including people with learning disabilities, dementia, mental health needs, and challenging behaviours. It is a highly rewarding role where your dedication directly improves someone's quality of life.
On the job training and support, backed up with both face to face and online certified courses.

Key Responsibilities
- Personal Care & Support: Assist service users with dressing, mealtimes, and daily routines while promoting their independence, privacy, and dignity.
- Social Inclusion: Help individuals safely access and take part in recreational, educational, and community activities.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively within a supervised environment with on-site supervisors to complete daily tasks and maintain safety.
- Administration: Maintain accurate, confidential daily care records and support plans in line with data protection policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery
- Also able to work on your own iniiative when completing home care shifts
- Drive between different care settings if necessary, ensuring timely support for clients
Job Requirements (Criteria)
Essential:
- Full Driving Licence: Access to a vehicle to attend various shift locations reliably and on time.
- NISCC Registration: Must be currently registered with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC), or willing to complete registration within two months of starting.
- Communication: Good written and spoken English skills.
- Availability: Ready to complete an immediate induction and training course upon appointment.
- Attributes: Reliable, patient, trustworthy, and resilient when encountering challenging behaviours.
Desirable:
- Qualifications: QCF/RQF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or a willingness to work towards it).
