Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and professional Front of House & Bar Person to join our vibrant team in a lovely location (Sark) as soon as possible and until mid October. This role involves delivering excellent customer service in a lively Bistro-Pub, being proactive, supporting the Manager in daily activities, and ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking orders and bookings, serving food and beverages, serving drinks behind the bar, help cleaning and setting up in the morning or closing up in the evenings, and helping with any other needed related to keep the place running smoothly and efficiently.
Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is necessary.

- Proven experience in hospitality, food service, or restaurant environments
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Capacity to use Point of Sales and card readers
- Punctuality and reliability
- Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Flexibility to adapt to changing demands within a fast-paced environment
This role is based on the lovely island of Sark, tax free, and comes with accommodation included.
Pay: £12.50 per hour
