Clean Room Operative
Location: Midhurst
Salary: £13.15 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shift
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Clean Room Operative to join our manufacturing team, supporting the aerospace, defence, and healthcare industries. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work within a controlled clean room environment.
The successful candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Work within a clean room environment, following strict procedures and quality standards.
- Assemble, inspect, and handle components used within the aerospace, defence, and healthcare sectors.
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail to ensure products meet customer and industry specifications.
- Wear and work comfortably in full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including face masks.
- Change in and out of full PPE multiple times throughout the working day as required.
- Support different departments across the business, demonstrating flexibility to work where required.
- Follow health and safety procedures, clean room protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Complete documentation accurately and maintain traceability of work.
Candidate Requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
- Flexible and willing to work across multiple areas of the business.
- Comfortable working in a clean room environment whilst wearing full PPE, including face masks.
- Able to change into and out of PPE efficiently throughout the shift.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.
- Previous clean room, manufacturing, aerospace, defence, medical, or healthcare experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
