Work model: Field-based — an expected working pattern of 4 days in the field visiting customers and supporting your team, and 1 day working from home for planning, administration, and virtual meetings.

As our new Area Sales Manager , you will be part of our UK Sales team and play an important role in managing and leading a team of Sales Representatives, developing and implementing sales strategies, and ensuring sales targets are achieved within your area . You will work closely with your team of Sales Representatives and senior management to maximize revenue and market share across your territory . What your day will look like
In this role, you will typically focus on:
Leading, coaching, and motivating a team of Sales Representatives to achieve their sales targets and objectives.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.
Developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share within your assigned territory.
Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and industry regulations, adapting the sales strategy accordingly.
Managing the sales budget for your area, ensuring expenditure aligns with the company's financial objectives.
Preparing regular reports on sales activities, achievements, and challenges, and presenting them to senior management.
What you'll bring
Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the tobacco industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and develop a sales team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Analytical and strategic thinking, with familiarity with UK tobacco industry regulations and market dynamics.
A full UK driving licence.
A bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field is an advantage but not essential.

For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from £50,000 to £60,000, depending on experience, plus a 10% annual bonus, corresponding to the level of the position, expected experience and responsibilities.
