An award-winning local manufacturer are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join their busy injection moulding team on an ongoing basis.
As a Machine Operator you will be involved in machine operation of their products, as well as quality checking and packing the finished product. If you have previous experience in a Machine Operator, Manufacturing Operative, Production Operative or similar role this would be beneficial, however if you’ve got a great work ethic and keen to build your skillset we’d love to hear from you.
Shift: Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm/10pm-6am/2pm-10pm, weekly rotation
Contract: Temporary, ongoing
Pay Rate: £15.07 per hour
Holiday: 33 days per annum
Key Duties of a Machine Operator:
- Packing finished products
- Carrying out quality checks and inspections
- Operating machinery (full training provided)
- Supporting with additional tasks such as palletising and shrink wrapping
What We’re Looking For in a Machine Operator:
- A reliable and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work nights and as part of a team
- Previous manufacturing experience in a Machine Operator, Manufacturing Operative, Production Operative or similar role is beneficial but not essential
