Lili Waste Services Ltd is a dynamic, privately owned SME waste collection business operating nationally with depots in Kent, Essex, London, Hampshire, Yorkshire and South Wales. With a fleet of modern vehicles and provision in house of all main waste and recycling collection services, we pride ourselves on delivering a first-class customer experience, reliable and responsive services, underpinned by a “get it right first time” ethos. We are now looking to recruit an additional Logistics Planner to support the ongoing development and growth of the business.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, enthusiastic, effective communicator and strong team player to deliver excellent customer service to our extensive and diverse range of customers. You will be joining an ambitious and growing Company with a close-knit team of like-minded and committed individuals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensure round sequencing is reviewed daily so round efficiency and completion is maximised.
· Proactively communicate with drivers within your region to support them as needed.
· Debrief your driver’s daily to ensure they provide you with fuel receipts, tip tickets, advise of any vehicle defects and detail any problematic jobs.
· Review Issues Reports for jobs that have been failed and proactively manage each of them as necessary. This will include replanning jobs to the next available service.
· Ensure onboard weighing is fully functional and capturing weights for each customer.
· Replan jobs/rounds as necessary e.g. due to vehicle breakdowns, driver sickness.
· Ensure waste/recyclates are tipped at the preferred approved disposal/treatment site.
· Ensure images of the tipped waste/recyclates are uploaded to our operating system VWS Purgo after each load is tipped.
· Manage driver overtime in with all Company KPI’s and targets.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Highly methodical and organised.
· Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
· Responsive to external and internal customer needs.
· Willingness to make decisions.
· Timely and excellent communicator.
· Experience of working in a dynamic and fluid service sector environment.
· Computer literate and confident to use all key software packages and bespoke IT systems.
· Reliable and dependable.
· A knowledge of the waste and recycling sector would be useful, but not essential.
Pay: Up to £35,000.00 per year
