Self-Employed Multi-Drop Courier Driver

Jet Group is looking for an experienced, self-employed multi-drop Courier Driver to join our team, delivering parcels across Suffolk and Essex. This is a great opportunity for a reliable, road-savvy driver who takes pride in getting parcels delivered safely, on time and with a smile — while enjoying the freedom and flexibility of being your own boss.
You'll plan your own routes, handle your own loading and unloading, and complete approximately 20-30 stops a day within the IP3 and IP4 area.
Responsibilities
- Plan the most efficient route to deliver parcels on time, every time.
- Load and unload parcels from the van safely and carefully.
- Drive the company-provided van in a safe and responsible manner.
- Deliver to a variety of locations, following delivery schedules and instructions accurately.
- Build friendly, professional relationships with customers at every drop.
- Flag any delivery issues to the team promptly, so they can be resolved quickly.
- Keep accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery, for every parcel.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Courier Driver within the courier or logistics industry.
- A valid full driving licence with a clean record.
- Confidence planning routes and using GPS/sat-nav systems.
- Ability to handle a vehicle up to 3.5 tonnes (Luton van) and carry out loading/unloading duties.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- A genuine commitment to accurate, secure deliveries.
- A friendly, clear communicator who enjoys customer contact.
- Self-motivated - comfortable working independently and consistently punctual.
- Availability Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM (may fluctuate slightly).
