We are seeking to recruit a part-time Sales Advisor at Pompey Health and Fitness Club, a 2,500-member health club joined on to the training ground for Portsmouth Football Club.
We are looking for a motivated, target driven and experienced sales person to join our team. The successful applicant will have an outgoing, bubbly personality who shares our vision and passion for the health club. The role will suit someone who thrives working in a dynamic and fast paced environment who is able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
At Pompey Health & Fitness, our Membership Sales Advisors work closely with the General Manager to produce and implement a monthly marketing plan that incorporates all aspects of outreach activities, referrals and lead generation to achieve sales targets. They are directly involved in generating leads through calls and outreach activities, showing prospective members the Club and signing up members to an induction process. There will be additional responsibility for following up with members as their renewals fall due. Previous experience in a similar role would be a distinct advantage.
The position is part-time, variable hours, which we anticipate would be approx 15-20 hours per week as part of a 7-day rota; the role would be mainly evenings and weekends. The basic hourly rate is enhanced by commission per membership sale plus a monthly bonus for achieving the overall team target.
