Cleaner – Castle Carvery Racecourse
We’re looking for a hardworking and reliable Cleaner to join our team. Anglia Restaurants takes pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for both guests and team members – and our Cleaners play a vital role in making that happen.
As a key member of the team, you’ll help ensure the restaurant is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, creating an environment that reflects the quality and professionalism of our venue.
About You
You’ll be organised, dependable, and take pride in maintaining high standards. You’ll be comfortable working independently, have a strong attention to detail, and understand the importance of cleanliness in creating a positive guest experience. Previous experience in a similar cleaning role is helpful but not essential, full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will include (but is not limited to):
- Maintaining excellent cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the restaurant, including guest and team areas.
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets, dining areas, and communal spaces.
- Ensuring floors, surfaces, seating and fixtures are kept clean and well maintained.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely and appropriately.
- Supporting the upkeep of back-of-house areas, including staff facilities.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or health & safety concerns to management.
- Following all company health & safety, cleaning, and hygiene procedures.
- Assisting with additional cleaning tasks as required to support the wider team and business needs.
Hours Required
08:00 to 11:00, up to five days a week. These hours are fixed, as the cleaning must be finished before we open. Days vary week to week but a settled pattern can usually be agreed, though flexibility is needed over holiday periods and busy trading times.
