Maintain standards. Influence delivery.
Roadways is looking for an experienced H&S Advisor / Site Inspector to support safe, compliant delivery across our highways and construction operations.

This role is about maintaining and strengthening that standard as the business continues to grow.

- Supporting site teams with clear, workable HSE advice
- Leading incident and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis
- Delivering inductions and toolbox talks relevant to site conditions
- Supporting compliance with legislation, ISO standards and company procedures
- Contributing to a consistent, proactive safety culture across the business and recognising and rewarding right behaviours
What we’re looking for
- NEBOSH General Certificate (essential)
- Experience in highways, construction or civil engineering environments
- Confident communicator, able to challenge and influence site teams
- Practical, solutions-focused approach to risk and safety
- Experience in inspections, reporting and investigations
- Full UK driving licence
What you’ll get
- Exposure to highways and infrastructure projects delivered to National Highways standards
- A role with real influence on how work is carried out on site
- Support to progress to NEBOSH Diploma (funded)
- Flexible working options (full-time, part-time or freelance considered)
- Company vehicle (where applicable)
