Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile General Handyman/Woman to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving various facilities and equipment across our operations. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building infrastructure, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Conduct welding tasks as needed to repair or fabricate metal components, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Assist with electrical work, including wiring, installing fixtures, and maintaining programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automation systems.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to diagnose problems, replace parts, and improve system performance.
- Supervise maintenance activities, coordinate with team members, and oversee contractors when necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing facility-related concerns promptly and professionally.
- Lead small teams or projects when required, demonstrating strong leadership skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Experience
- Proven experience in general maintenance or handyman roles with a strong background in mechanical and electrical work.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical systems is highly desirable.
- Skilled in welding techniques with the ability to fabricate or repair metal structures confidently.
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge related to building systems or machinery maintenance.
- Experience supervising or leading teams within maintenance or facilities management is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English for effective collaboration and customer interactions.
- Prior experience in customer service environments is a plus, emphasizing a positive attitude and problem-solving approach.
