Duties
- Provide a wide range of hair styling, cutting, colouring, and grooming services tailored to individual client preferences
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and offer professional advice on styles and treatments
- Maintain a clean, hygienic work environment by sanitising tools and workstations regularly
- Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and personalised attention
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and products in hairdressing and barbering
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to minimise wait times and maximise client satisfaction
- Promote salon services and retail products to enhance client experience and business growth
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Hairstylist or Barber with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
- Proficiency in hair styling, cutting, colouring, and grooming techniques
- Strong communication skills to understand client needs and provide professional recommendations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Friendly, approachable manner with a passion for helping clients look and feel their best
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in hairdressing or barbering are preferred but not essential for experienced candidates
