Legal Cashier – Full time– 12 Month FTC – £30k DOE – North Manchester
Forrest Recruitment are currently supporting a well-established organisation in the North Manchester area with the appointment of an experienced Legal Cashier on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous legal accounts experience who is looking to join a professional and supportive working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day financial and cashiering activities
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate financial records
- Carrying out regular bank reconciliations
- Processing invoices and financial documentation
- Supporting billing and payment processes
- Monitoring outstanding balances and assisting with credit control
- Assisting with month-end finance procedures
- Responding to internal and external finance queries
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring financial information is kept up to date
- Supporting financial controls and compliance procedures
- Providing general administrative and finance support as required
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within legal accounts, legal cashiering or a similar position
- A good understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Experience using legal accounts or finance systems
- Strong numerical and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
- A professional, reliable and confidential approach
- A relevant legal accounts qualification would be advantageous but is not essential
