Experienced Vehicle Mechanic Required-
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy used car dealership and MOT/Repair centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in their work and can deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out cambelt replacements independently
- Performing vehicle diagnostics and fault finding
- Preparing vehicles to a high standard ready for retail sale
- Identifying and advising on any additional work required
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer specifications
- Diagnose faults using manufacturer's diagnostic equipment
- Complete warranty work in line with brand repair order guidelines
- Perform vehicle health checks and accurately report findings
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards
- Maintain accurate job records and workshop documentation
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a vehicle mechanic
- Confident in diagnostics and cambelt replacements without supervision
- Ability to work efficiently and manage workload independently
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
