Job Title: Senior Residential Child Care Worker
Location: Bradford
Salary: Estimated £36,180 per year (based on 160 hours/month at hourly rate + 11 sleeps/month at sleep rate — see breakdown below)
Hourly Rate: £15.75 per hour (+ £5 per hour overtime rate)
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week / 160 hours per month
Employment Type: Permanent
Sleep-ins: £45 per sleep
Service: Children's Home
Service Users: EBD, ages 8–17 years
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Children's & Young People's Workforce
Experience Required: Experience within children's residential care
Number of beds: 4
Who we are looking for: Someone to help young people continue with hobbies, social activities, and friendships, and learn new skills; support young people to reach their potential and experience new opportunities; conduct staff supervisions; manage the home effectively in the absence of the Deputy or Manager; effectively lead shifts, directing and supporting colleagues; manage health and safety processes including risk assessments; support the induction of new colleagues; and safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
