Busy Living has been running Out of School Club provision since 2007 and currently has 7 locations. We operate Breakfast, After School & Holiday Clubs and are looking for staff to join our team.
Job Summary
This role is for 5 days a week covering Breakfast Club 07:20-09:00 and After School Club 15:00-18:00. We are seeking a passionate and energetic Childcare Assistant to join our vibrant team. In this paid role, you will play a vital part in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. Your enthusiasm for teaching, childcare, and fostering positive experiences will help children develop essential skills while ensuring their well-being and happiness.
Responsibilities
- Support children's daily activities, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment
- Assist with supervising playtime, meals, and playful activities
- Engage children in age-appropriate games, learning exercises, and creative projects
- Collaborate with team members to plan and implement planned activities
- Maintain clear communication with parents regarding children's progress and needs
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed consistently
Skills
- Strong passion for working with children and fostering their development
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Experience in childcare, nannying, or working within a school environment preferred
- Expectation to work within our 2 sites close by
- Ability to multitask effectively in a lively environment
- Patience, empathy, and positive attitude towards children and colleagues
- Knowledge of child safety standards and willing to undergo training

Pay: £203.36-£298.68 per week
