Support Worker – Children & Young People
From £17 per hour | Flexible Shifts | Immediate Starts
WCB is looking for experienced and compassionate Support Workers to support children and young people in crisis.
This is a rewarding role where you’ll help young people feel safe, supported, and empowered while managing emotional and behavioural challenges.
What You’ll Do
- Support children & young people in crisis
- Build positive, trusting relationships
- Promote safety, wellbeing & daily routines
- Manage challenging behaviour calmly and confidently
- Work alongside professionals and care teams
Requirements
✔ 12+ months’ experience supporting children/young people
✔ Understanding of safeguarding & child protection
✔ Flexible for weekends, waking nights & sleep-ins
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain)
✔ Strong communication & teamwork skills
Driving licence preferred
