Bartender – Join Our Team!
Location: 2 minutes from High Street Kensington station, London
Salary: £18.50 per hour (£14 per hour plus an average £4.50 tronc, although tronc is not guaranteed)
Hours: 40–45 hours per week (4–5 days per week)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

- At least 1 year of previous experience working in hospitality and bartending
- Experience making cocktails (we'll teach you our own Japanese-inspired recipes and standards).
- Good knowledge of bar setup/closing procedures, stock rotation, cleaning and bar maintenance.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, work efficiently and remain calm in in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly and conscientious nature – being consistently considerate of colleagues/guests, whilst showing a strong work ethic and responsibility.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A positive professional attitude, eagerness to learn and passion for hospitality.
- Ability to closely and consistently follow protocols and recipes.
- Ability to positively respond and improve following feedback.
- Strong attention to detail for drink quality and presentation, with high standards of cleanliness/hygiene.
- English proficiency is essential.
- Authorisation to work in the UK.
- An interest in Japanese food, drinks or hospitality is a bonus.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing and serving our original cocktails/mocktails, speciality teas/coffees, wine/sake, beers and soft drinks to a consistently high standard.
- Providing warm, friendly and attentive service to every guest.
- Preparing garnishes and fresh juices for cocktails.
- Setting up and closing the bar correctly each day.
- Keeping the bar clean, organised and fully stocked throughout service.
- Washing/polishing glassware and equipment throughout the service.
- Monitoring stock levels, rotating products and helping to minimise waste.
- Carrying out routine maintenance and deep cleaning of the bar.
- Following all hygiene, licensing and responsible alcohol service procedures.
- Working efficiently during busy services while maintaining excellent quality.
- Supporting the wider front-of-house team whenever needed.
