Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, good organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant or bar experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. All positions are paid, including internships.
Duties
- Serve drinks and food to customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Ensure the bar area remains clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout shifts
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Handle cash and card transactions with accuracy using basic maths skills
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs promptly
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar area at the beginning and end of shifts
- Maintain a safe environment by following health and safety regulations
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards is beneficial
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Good time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism
- Friendly attitude with excellent communication skills
- Basic maths proficiency for handling payments accurately
