Sure Staffing is currently recruiting for both Intermediate and Senior Quantity Surveyors to support a busy and growing construction business delivering a range of refurbishment and new-build projects across the region.
York, YO41 area
Full-time | Monday to Friday
Intermediate QS: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum
Senior QS: £60,000 – £75,000+ per annum (plus company car or car allowance)
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing cost control across multiple construction projects
- Subcontract procurement and negotiation
- Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Cost reporting and financial forecasting
- Working closely with project managers and site teams
- Ensuring commercial performance is maintained across all projects
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong background in subcontract procurement and cost management
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Full UK driving licence required
