We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and have the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional dental care to our patients.
What We’re Looking For:
- A dynamic and compassionate Dental Hygienist or Therapist
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical setting
- Passion for patient education and oral health promotion
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene are maintained.
- Educate patients on oral health practices, including proper brushing and flossing techniques.
- Conduct medical imaging procedures as required, utilising advanced technology for accurate diagnostics.
- Assist in the development of treatment plans based on patient assessments and needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments and observations meticulously.
- Collaborate with dentists and specialist periodontist to provide comprehensive care.
- Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies, including CAD (Computer-Aided Design) applications.
Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygienist licence or equivalent qualification recognised in the UK.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health, ensuring effective patient assessments.
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in the workplace.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to accommodate patient schedules.
