We’re a busy interior design business based in Studley, Warwickshire and we’re looking for someone proactive to join our warehouse team.
This is a dual role: keeping our goods in process tight, and helping build furniture to a high standard for our projects.
Job Summary:
Responsible for receiving, inspecting and recording all incoming goods to ensure they meet company quality and quantity standards. Maintain accurate inventory records and store items safely. You’ll also assist with furniture assembly for client projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving: Check deliveries against purchase orders. Verify correct quantity, quality and condition
Reporting: Log and report any damaged, missing or incorrect items to the supervisor immediately
Inventory: Record received goods in the inventory/warehouse management system. Label and store in the correct location
Warehouse: Maintain a clean, organised and safe receiving area at all times
Coordination: Work with warehouse and purchasing teams to keep everything flowing
Compliance: Follow all company health, safety and security procedures
Stock: Assist with periodic stock counts and inventory audits
Build: Assemble and build flatpack furniture to a high standard
What we’re looking for:
Experience in receiving, warehouse or inventory operations is an advantage
Basic computer + data entry skills — comfortable logging goods on a system
Great attention to detail and organisation skills
Physically able to lift and move goods as required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Practical, tidy, and takes pride in a good furniture build
