Job Summary
We are looking for someone with a huge personality who genuinely enjoys making people's day. You must possess superhuman levels of attention to detail and the ability to inspire a team to have the same!
You must have at least 1 year in a supervisory position in a customer focused hospitality business and have good knowledge of food and drink service standards.
This is a role that involves very little back of house work and requires the ability to lead from the front.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Manager in planning, coordinating, and implementing organisational strategies and objectives.
- Support staff management by supervising team members, providing guidance, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of training programmes, including teaching sessions where applicable.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality standards, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle customer or client enquiries professionally, resolving issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Support organisational projects and initiatives, including organising schedules and resource allocation.
- Contribute to performance evaluations by providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for staff development.
- Assist in preparing reports, analysing data, and recommending improvements to optimise organisational performance.
Skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a similar environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clear instruction and teaching capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
- Proficiency in organising training sessions and delivering educational content.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive approach with problem-solving skills and adaptability.
- Experience in teaching or educational roles is highly desirable.
