We’re looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic people to join our team as Casual Catering Staff, supporting us with events and catering across a variety of settings.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the catering and events industry. Previous catering or hospitality experience is an advantage, but it isn’t essential, we’re happy to train the right people who have a positive attitude and are willing to learn.
The Role
As part of our catering team, you’ll help ensure our events run smoothly and that our guests receive a friendly and professional service.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Setting up and preparing event spaces for catering service.
- Serving food and drinks to guests.
- Assisting with buffets and helping to run smaller buffet events.
- Keeping service areas clean, tidy and well presented.
- Helping with kitchen cleaning and general kitchen duties, with guidance from more experienced members of the team.
- Clearing tables and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment throughout events.
- Assisting the wider catering team with preparation and service as required.
- Supporting with occasional retail catering work, always as part of a team and with an experienced member of staff present.
- Helping with the safe packing, loading and unloading of catering equipment when required.
You won’t generally be responsible for taking customer orders, although there may occasionally be some customer-facing work as part of our retail catering activities.

Previous experience in catering, hospitality, events or customer service is helpful, but full training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude.
Hours & Locations
This is a zero hours, casual role, so hours will vary depending on our event schedule and your availability. There is potential for regular work, but hours cannot be guaranteed.
Most shifts will be based in Knowle, with some opportunities for outside catering at other locations.
Transport will be provided for outside catering events where required.
Evening and weekend availability is essential, as these are some of our busiest periods.
Pay
Minimum wage up to £14 per hour, depending on experience.
