Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in their own homes. The successful candidate will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and ensure the well-being of clients. Duties
- Support clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as required
- Maintain accurate care plans and document any changes in clients' conditions
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Support with medication administration under supervision if trained and authorised
- Assist with light domestic duties within care settings or clients’ homes
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a home care environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Driving licence is advantageous for roles involving home visits
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic care records and documentation
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in caring for others
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills to follow care plans accurately

Pay: £25,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
