Part time Evening Sales Order Processor - Onsite (Cumbernauld Site)
Our bakery team work night-shift starting 6 nights a week at 10pm. As we only bake to order we need to be able to provide the bakers full production reports and customer orders at the start of their shift so they know what to bake. Customers phone in orders from noon daily for next day delivery. These are recorded as voicemails and emails.
This role would be to be onsite in the bakery office and take those orders off the phone and emails and put them into our production system Cybake. Once entered you print next-day reports which include: production reports, packing and slicing reports and customer delivery notes.
You need to have a good ear for taking details off the phone and excellent attention to detail, as you take the orders from the phone and input into the system. Errors result in products not being made and unhappy customers the following day.
The key hours of the role would be approximately 4-6pm to 10-11pm two evenings per week, which will include Sunday night. (nights may vary and are be open to discussion. Shifts are settled in advance.). More shifts will be available over the Summer, to cover Annual Leave.
This role requires someone who is methodical, has good listening skills, a good memory, can work under their own initiative, isn’t afraid to ask questions and keen attention to detail.
We have our own production system and full training will be provided and you will shadow an order processor for 4-5 weeks until comfortable processing on your own.
The role is performed in the bakery office, by yourself. So the successful candidate would be a key holder and need to have their own transport. You must also be comfortable working on your own (once training is completed).
Full phone support will always be provided for any queries every night.
