Accountable for the planning and delivery of a profitable growth plan for nominated accounts within the Birds Eye portfolio.

Day to day management of wider business functions (Category, Marketing, Finance and Supply) to ensure the team are all working towards one goal.

Managing Birds Eye, Aunt Bessies and Goodfella’s brands within their respective categories.

Generate retailer and consumer specific business plans through:
- Development and management of joint business plans
- Adapting as necessary our business approach to customers including Eden Farm, Bestway and Parfetts
- Further our engagement with retailer facing communication platforms including C Talk and ACS
- Use of bespoke category and shopper insight to drive distribution, availability and activation of our brands.
- Full understanding of business performance and key performance drivers
- Development of profit-based account plans and budgets including identifying the customer’s key volume and profit drivers
- Development of customer specific promotional calendars in line with the Corporate Calendar and commercial parameters
Monitoring portfolio effectiveness via the company tool kit / reporting system and feed learnings into the category, customer marketing and customer finance teams
Manage customer product mix and align with strategic brand and category guidelines
Update sales and gross profit forecasts
Develop and implement full customer contact strategies and aligning internal contacts to their customer counterparts
Build an internal support network across Brand, Shopper, Category, Finance, Demand Planning, Logistics and Senior Management
Working with colleagues on the preparation and delivery of monthly business performance presentations

Essential

Graduate calibre
2+ years’ experience of account management
Built & delivered a customer business plan
Sales Skills – has a structured selling process and can conduct portfolio negotiations
A category and customer first mind-set
Communication – Is influential and builds effective cross functional links both internally and externally
P&L Analysis and course correction – can interpret data and use to a commercial advantage. Is able to scenario plan against internal budgets and understands key cost drivers. Will see reality and take the appropriate decision / action decisively
Teamwork – Can work effectively within a team
Motivated self starter who is able to work autonomously and ‘make this happen’. Tenacious and hard working with ambition to build a career with Nomad Foods
