Catering Assistant Required:
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced kitchen/canteen environment. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the culinary team by ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food preparation and hospitality, and who thrive in a collaborative setting.
Your duties will consist of, but not be limited to:
- Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly, yet professional manner and setting up dining areas, warranting that a clean and tidy environment is presented and always maintained.
- Ensuring high levels of hygiene and cleanliness are always maintained to guarantee first class service.
- Organising and storing ingredients and materials quickly and efficiently.
- Preparing, and storing food hygienically and safety.
- Assisting each other in general kitchen duties.
Working Hours:
Full time, Permanent
Monday - Friday, 06:30am - 15:30pm

DUE TO OUR CLIENTS REQUIREMENTS YOU WILL BE SUBJECT TO ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING.
Please note: we require all staff to have the following qualifications before we can get them in the kitchen:
Allergen Awareness and Food Intolerances
COSHH Awareness for Hospitality
Food Hygiene and Safety Level 2 for Catering
If you don’t already have these, please do not worry; we can set you up on our online learning platform (Tayl). Each course only takes around 30 minutes to complete, and once done, they are yours to keep!
