Garden management operative
We are currently looking for an experienced and highly skilled gardener to help with the maintenance and development of our clients gardens throughout the local area, The successful candidate would be a qualified and competent gardener who can undertake all tasks within a garden and with a proven track record of working within the industry

Wage negotiable depending on experience and skill set
Responsibilities
- To assist our teams of gardeners in the general day to day running of large gardens
- To carry out fundamental garden tasks like mowing, strimming, edging, weeding and general garden maintenance duties
- To help maintain herbaceous borders, shrubs and roses by carrying out deadheading and general pruning
- To carry out hedge trimming, topiary and pruning.
- To help provide maintenance to a range of hedges and topiary
- Carry out leaf clearance and a range of winter tasks through the winter months in preparation for the year ahead
- To keep equipment and vehicles clean and organised
Skills
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a gardener or equivalent Rhs qualification
- The ability to use a range of garden machinery safe and effectively
- The ability to identify weeds and some plant knowledge
- Have a sound knowledge of various pruning techniques
- be a team player
- To be presentable, polite and punctual
- a keen eye for attention to detail is very important
- The ability to work under instruction, alone and within a team
- To be able to follow health and safety procedures and follow instruction
- Hold a uk Manual driving licence
- Be willing to learn and develop your gardening skills further
