About You

As Assistant Controller and Financial Controller for the EMEA region, you will support regional financial governance, statutory and management reporting, and internal control activities across a complex multi‑country portfolio. Working closely with the Global Controller, other regional Controllers for LATAM and APAC, FP&A, Global Business Services, and business leaders, you will help ensure accurate financial reporting, strong compliance with IFRS and local GAAP, and effective decision support for a ~$2.7B regional business.
In this role you will:
Support end‑to‑end controllership activities for EMEA entities, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting
Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including review and analysis of P&L and balance sheet accounts
Assist in ensuring compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, corporate accounting policies, and statutory reporting requirements
Support internal control and SOX compliance activities, including documentation, testing, and remediation of findings
Partner with FP&A and business teams to provide insights on regional performance, risks, and opportunities
Collaborate with Shared Service Centers to ensure effective execution of transactional processes (AP, AR, GL, Payroll)
Contribute to finance transformation, automation, and process standardization initiatives across the region
To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Strong experience in accounting, controllership, or financial reporting within multinational environments
Strong working knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP and experience supporting statutory reporting and audits in EMEA markets
Experience working in matrixed organizations and partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders
Experience in regional or global finance roles within complex, multi‑entity organizations
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and exposure to consolidation tools such as HFM or OneStream
Demonstrated involvement in finance transformation or process improvement initiatives
