Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Housekeeper to lead our domestic team in our 61-bedded care home, managing both housekeeping and laundry operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise, train and rota domestic and laundry assistants.
· Maintain high cleaning standards throughout bedrooms and communal areas.
· Ensure COSHH, health and safety and infection control protocols are met.
· Monitor and order cleaning supplies and PPE within budget.
· Interact warmly with residents and respect private spaces.
Requirements & Compliance:
· Proven housekeeping supervisory experience.
· Care home or hospital experience is desirable.
· Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
· This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires an Enhanced DBS check.
