Multi Trader Required (Self-Employed / CIS)
Location: South East London (SE Postcode)
We are looking for an experienced Multi Trader to join our growing team, delivering high-quality domestic refurbishment and repair projects across the the SE postcode area.
the work will primarily consists of repair works to residential and commercial properties, covering a wide range of insured perils including escape of water, fire, flood, storm, impact and other property damage. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality repairs, excellent customer service and reliable project delivery, particularly when working in customers’ homes following what can often be a disruptive or stressful event.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, customer-focused Multi Trader looking for consistent, ongoing work.
The Role
You'll be attending occupied residential properties, carrying out a range of maintenance, repair and refurbishment works to a high standard while providing excellent customer service.
Essential Skills
Applicants should be competent and experienced in carrying out residential insurance repair and reinstatement works, including:
- Strip-out and reinstatement works following escape of water, fire, flood and other insured damage
- Carpentry works, including doors, skirting, architraves, flooring and general second-fix carpentry
- Plasterboard repairs, plastering, patch repairs and making good
- Internal decorating, including preparation, painting and finishing
- Basic plumbing associated with reinstatement works
- Kitchen and bathroom repairs and reinstatement
- Flooring repairs and replacement
- General building and finishing works
- Working carefully within occupied residential properties and maintaining a clean, professional working environment
Requirements
- Self-employed (CIS registered)
- Own van/transport
- Own hand and power tools
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Labour and tools supplied by you (all materials will be provided)
- Hold a current DBS certificate, or be willing to undergo a DBS check
- Professional appearance and good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Reliable, organised and committed to delivering quality workmanship
Areas Covered
Work is primarily within the SE (London) postcode area, with jobs scheduled to keep travel as efficient as possible.
Pay & Benefits
- £180–£210 per day, depending on experience
- 35p per mile for company mileage
Daily rate includes:
- Up to 20 miles each way between your home and your first/last job
- Up to 1 hour travel time each way
- Consistent, ongoing workload
- Weekly payments
