A growing commercial vehicle workshop in Croydon is looking to recruit a skilled HGV Technician to join its daytime engineering team.
This role is ideal for an experienced technician who wants a stable day shift position, a varied workload and the opportunity to continue developing their technical skills in a modern workshop environment.
The role
You will carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repair work on a range of heavy commercial vehicles, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high professional standard.
Key responsibilities
- Service and maintain HGVs
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Carry out inspections and safety checks
- Prepare vehicles for MOT and compliance requirements
- Complete all workshop paperwork accurately
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in HGV / Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Previous HGV or commercial vehicle workshop experience
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Reliable and professional approach
