Duties
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, or assembling ingredients under supervision.
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness across all food prep areas, including floors, work surfaces, and storage spaces.
- Help with restocking supplies and ensuring all kitchen tools are properly stored and maintained.
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with serving duties when needed, including setting up serving stations or delivering food to guests.
- Support overall kitchen operations by being proactive, adaptable, and ready to lend a hand wherever needed.
Skills
- Experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
- Previous restaurant or hotel experience that demonstrates reliability and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques or food handling procedures is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with an eye for cleanliness and detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and servers.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
