We are recruiting for a Equipment and Stores Service Co-Ordinator who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The Equipment and Stores Service Co-Ordinator will have devolved responsibility for the local procurement and maintenance of consumables, equipment and service contracts within the Operating Theatre Department as advised by the Theatre Manager / Service Manager, in conjunction with the Procurement Team, Estates, Facilities, Quality Improvement and local supplies department.
The post-holder will support the Service Manager and Theatre Manager in the co ordination and management in aspects of Clinical equipment and supplies to support Planned and Unplanned surgical
procedures.

The post holder will be jointly responsible with external teams, e.g. Access/Waiting List Managers, specialty managers, EMBE, Estates for robust communication and effective management of the patient’s surgical pathway.
To work unsupervised and act independently to manage own workload, referring to Service Manager when necessary.
To innovate more effective systems to benefit the department and the Trust.
To deputise for the Service Manager as required in the remit of stock management.
Co-ordinating ,ordering and receipting on loan instruments and implants under supervision of Clinical Leads /Theatre Manager.
The Post holder will regularly work unsupervised but with the wider theatre team available for reference at all times.
