About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, skilled Handyman/Maintenance Operative to carry out general repairs, maintenance, and upkeep across our multiple sites. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, can manage their own time, and is comfortable handling a wide variety of maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general repairs and maintenance across sites including plumbing, carpentry, electrical (basic), plastering, painting, and decorating
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests and reported faults in a timely manner
- Carry out planned/preventative maintenance in line with schedules
- Diagnose issues and determine whether they can be resolved in-house or require a specialist contractor
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with health & safety regulations
- Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent
- Liaise professionally with staff, or clients while on site
- Support with moving furniture/equipment, minor installations, and general site upkeep
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a handyman, maintenance, or general trades role
- Broad practical skill set across multiple trades (e.g. basic plumbing, carpentry, painting/decorating, minor electrical work)
- Ability to work independently and prioritise a varied workload
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Good communication skills, both with colleagues and members of the public/clients

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
