Job Overview
We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented Clinical & Commercial Cleaning Operatives to join our growing team. Successful candidates will help maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety across clinical, healthcare and commercial environments.
The role may involve cleaning healthcare facilities, offices, communal areas and other client premises, following appropriate cleaning procedures, infection prevention requirements and health and safety standards.
We are looking for people who take pride in their work, have good attention to detail and can work independently as well as part of a team. Previous experience in commercial, healthcare or clinical cleaning is desirable, but suitable candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn will also be considered.
Please note: This is an upcoming recruitment opportunity, with positions offered as suitable cleaning contracts become available. Work locations, hours and duties may vary depending on client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Carry out thorough cleaning of clinical, healthcare and commercial environments.
- Clean areas such as patient rooms, treatment areas, offices, reception areas, corridors and communal facilities, where required.
- Follow appropriate infection prevention, cleaning and hygiene procedures.
- Use cleaning equipment, products and chemicals safely and correctly.
- Follow cleaning schedules, checklists and client-specific requirements.
- Use appropriate PPE and follow all health and safety procedures.
- Safely handle and dispose of waste in accordance with relevant procedures.
- Report maintenance issues, hazards or concerns to the supervisor or management.
- Maintain accurate cleaning and quality-control records where required.
- Maintain a professional and respectful approach when working on client premises.
Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in commercial, healthcare or clinical cleaning is desirable.
- Knowledge of infection prevention and safe cleaning practices is an advantage.
- Good understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment and PPE.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
- Ability to follow instructions, cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexibly according to client requirements.

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
