Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Ofsted Registered Manager to lead and oversee our care home facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained in accordance with Ofsted regulations. Duties
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and review personalised support plans tailored to individual residents’ needs.
- Supervise and support staff members, fostering a positive team environment through effective leadership and management.
- Oversee and ensuring safety and accuracy at all times.
- Monitor resident well-being and progress to independent living.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain compliance with legal requirements and quality standards.
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care services.
- Organise staff training programmes to ensure continuous professional development.
- Manage budgets, staffing rotas, and resource allocation efficiently to optimise service delivery.
Skills
- Proven experience in senior management or as a registered manager within a care home setting.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, compliance requirements, and quality assurance processes.
- Extensive experience in tailoring support plans .
- Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Compassionate leadership style with outstanding communication skills suited for working with residents’ families and healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of assisted living environments such as children's residential homes or supported accommodation is highly desirable.
Requirements
- Experience - Minimum of 2 years in a managerial role within a supported accommodation or a similar role i.e. childrens homes etc. within the last 5 years.
- knowledge - Understanding of the challenges faced by young people in care and the ability to provide compassionate support.
- Knowledge of Ofsted regulations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £40,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
