Overview
We are looking for an experienced, hands on Café Manager to help lead our new café, The Roman Kitchen, at Fishbourne Roman Palace.
This is a practical, customer facing role within a small team. You will be responsible for the smooth day to day running of the café, leading and supporting staff, maintaining high standards, managing stock and service, and ensuring customers receive a warm and welcoming experience.
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and confident leading a team, but who is also happy to work alongside them. You will be involved in all areas of the café, from front of house and coffee service to supporting the kitchen during busy periods.
Previous café or hospitality management experience is essential. Baking or kitchen experience would be a strong advantage.
The Roman Kitchen is a new independent café with a focus on homemade cakes and bakes, quality brunch dishes and excellent customer service.
Full time position. Weekend availability required.
Pay: £14.00-£15.50 per hour
