Smoke & Pepper is looking for an experienced, motivated and hands-on Store Manager to lead our Earl’s Court restaurant.
You will be responsible for the overall day-to-day running of the store, leading the team, maintaining high operational standards and ensuring an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant across both Front of House and Back of House.
- Lead, motivate and develop the team to deliver excellent customer service.
- Manage staff rotas, attendance, holidays and labour costs.
- Recruit, train and develop team members.
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, health & safety and company procedures are followed at all times.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food quality and presentation.
- Manage stock levels, ordering, stock counts and minimise waste.
- Monitor sales, labour, food costs and overall store performance.
- Manage delivery platforms such as Uber Eats and ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve operational issues quickly.
- Ensure cash handling, till procedures and end-of-day processes are completed correctly.
- Prepare the store for internal and external audits and maintain company standards at all times.
- Work closely with senior management and Head Office to improve store performance.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Store Manager, General Manager or experienced Assistant Manager within a busy restaurant, QSR or fast-casual environment.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Good understanding of food safety and restaurant operations.
- Experience managing labour, stock, wastage and operational KPIs.
- Commercially minded with a strong focus on sales and profitability.
- Confident dealing with customers and managing a busy team.
- Reliable, organised and able to work under pressure.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
We are looking for someone who takes full ownership of the store, leads from the front and is passionate about building a strong team and delivering consistently high standards.
Pay: £25,420.00-£31,500.00 per year
