The Governing Body of Acton Park Primary is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic, hard-working and creative Level 2 teaching assistant who is committed to supporting and promoting positive pupil well-being and learner experiences as well as working towards continuing their own professional development.
The successful candidate will work under the guidance of a class teacher to support targeted pupils within a safe, stimulating, purposeful environment where every pupil is valued and supported to reach their full potential.
We are a dedicated, friendly and supportive team; committed to achieving the best for all. Experience of working alongside Year 2 and 3 aged children is desirable, alongside any experience of working with additional learning needs. The ability to be an excellent communicator whilst having a good level of literacy and numeracy skills is essential
Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area. The role will also involve mid-day supervision of pupils.
The position will be on a temporary basis starting from the 1st September 2026.
An Enhanced DBS check & Education Workforce Council registration is required for this position.
