Job Title: Brewer
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £31,000
Based at our production site in St Philips, Bristol, this is an exciting opportunity to join the brewing team at Moor Beer.
Working closely with our Brewery Manager & Head Brewer, we are looking for an experienced brewer to assist in the production of our core and seasonal beers.
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work required (Overtime applies)
Your tasks will include:
- Wort production
- Cellaring and fermentation management
- Basic Lab work including yeast counts & viability.
- Packaging into Cask, Keg and Can formats
- CIPs and site cleaning
- Assisting with quality control procedures
- Supporting continuous improvement in process and efficiency
The successful candidate will have:
- At least 3 years’ experience in brewing
- Completed the General Certificate in Brewing (or similar qualification)
- A strong understanding of quality control procedures.
- High standards of site hygiene and food safety awareness
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to problem solve and think critically
- Excellent attention to detail
- A desire to learn and develop
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude
- A genuine love of flavour-driven, modern beer
