Job Purpose:
CFM (UK) Ltd has responsibility for the Facilities Management delivery across the UK for a key long standing contract This is a great opportunity to join a global company and engaging finance team with focus on colleague development, process improvement and providing operational insight This business partner role gets to the heart of the City delivery model across its Retail self-delivery teams with opportunity to have significant impact in a high-profile area across the customer’s main chain and express estate sites
Working within the Operational Finance team you will provide support to Business Partner Manager supporting Retail operational teams on Reactive spend This role is a key business partner and “go-to” colleague for this area This role provides a great opportunity for exposure across management accounts preparation, financial dashboard reporting which provides key analysis and insight of high profile spend area across the contract
Key Accountabilities:
- Business partnering with operations colleagues supporting tracking of Reactive services activity that includes sub-contractor works and City engineer parts spend
- Lead contact for P&L for FM & Cleaning services for customer head office sites
- Driving evolution of daily dashboard spend through power BI reporting, working closely with operations and FM Data Insights team
- Preparation of monthly management accounts that includes P&L budget tracking, reporting and insight analysis
- Ensuring all month end tasks are completed to agreed schedule and relevant deadlines are met
- Maintaining control over balance sheet accounts including tracking of Work in Progress working closely with operational team
- Weekly reviews with operational managers proactively highlighting issues on spend in month and risk on budgets
- Prepare and deliver customer billing for Reactive and Head Office sites working with operational teams and the customer agreeing timelines and completion of monthly cycle
- Assistance with ad-hoc/project work as required by Business Partner Manager
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Previous experience in a finance environment required
- Ideally studying for professional accountancy qualification (support provided)
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience in a high-volume transaction environment
- Commitment to multiple deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills
