The Role
The Customer Information Controller will be responsible for managing the information provision via Transport for Wales customer information systems, ensuring high quality and accurate information at all times. Proactively monitor CCTV images both in real time and retrospectively.
Role responsibilities
To input, monitor and support the dissemination of accurate, concise and timely information on CIS screens in accordance with company standards and statutory requirements.
Contact with managers, various police forces and external bodies for CCTV requests.
Inform station managers of any station issues brought to the controller's attention.
Customer service and information provision for customers via station Help Points
Who we're looking for
Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced or operational environment
Demonstrable ability to prioritise workload and work on own initiative
Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to convey clear and accurate information
Experience providing customer service, particularly in pressurised or time-sensitive situations
High level of attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy when handling real-time information
Good IT and computer skills, including the ability to use multiple systems effectively
Strong teamworking and stakeholder communication skills
Welsh Language Skills
Welsh language skills are an essential requirement for this role.
